I will be in the Lynchburg Virginia area an March 11 for an intensive class at Liberty. I was wondering what sites I should see while I am there. Are there any tea rooms? craft stores? anything you think is interesting or a must see? I am not much of a traveller so therefore I am asking for people who know the area to help me. Thanks.

Thank you for the websites. They have helped me start to make some plans for my trip next weekend. I am almost ready to go and am anxious to get going now. I am not so anxious to leave my son for a week but I will live through this as well.

Glad to help! =o} Be sure to tell us all about it when you get back! The separation will probably be good for you both! As long as you trust the person he is with, don't worry about it! Do be sure to call him during the week though. He is little and will be confused by the long absence. Hearing you say "I will be back" will help him to understand it a little.

What are you going to be studying at Liberty? How did you hear of it? Why are you going there to study?

I am working on my Masters degree in Marriage and Family therapy. I was messing around and looked up online matsers psychology programs to find it. I take most of my classes online but go there for 3 or 4 of them. I was looking for a Christian based college and they were the one that came up so that is where I decided to go.
