family bound?

I was never really close to my parents while growing up. That may have stemmed from the fact that they married young (18 & 19) and were not hip on raising kids. i was always close to my grandmother. She would pick me up from day care and later school. Many weekends I would spend the night with her baking cookies and such. Now, I get alaong better with my parents than I did as a teenager but I wouldn't say that I share everything with them. I do know that they are always herre for me if I need them.

I think I had the "normal" relationship with my parents. Close at the beginning and then rebellion in my teenage years not understanding anything they did or why they did it. Now, as an adult with kids myself, I finally get it. :) Me and my parents are very close. I talk to my mom on the phone several times a day and see them at least once a week. I am going to move to Florida soon so we won't be able to talk or see each other as much, but we will still be close. Me and my sisters are close, too. I am the oldest of three girls and we all get along. My youngest sister is 25 and a bit immature so I pretty much "mother" her and she will get mad at me a lot for speaking my mind. My middle sister is 31 and we get along really well. We talk at least a couple times a week. I just got back from her house, as a matter of fact.
