Does Anyone Read Stephen King Books?

I'm a huge Stephen King fan, and was wondering if anyone else on here enjoyed his books? I've just read the uncut version of The Stand, and it was incredible. It's definitely one of my favourite books that King has written, along with 'IT', 'Pet Semetary' and 'Rose Madder'. What's your favourite book of his? Do you like him or not? Why?

I used to devour his books but I haven't been able to read his books lately. Though, I did listen to his "Everythings Eventual" and I'm currently listening to "The Cell" on cd (while driving). I drive frequently everyday so it passes the time.

I don't have a favorite, I like them all, even the short noveletts written under his pen name of Richard Bachman. And now his son has published his first novel. So we can add him to our list of favorite authors as well. Oh, yes, The Stand(uncut)was a very good read. I read "IT" 4 times. Too bad the movies they make based on his books aren't as good. There is rumors that "Cell" will be made into a movie also. Can hardly wait to see how they mess this one up!

I love Stephen King books. I've got most of his books on my shelf. Just when I think I've got all of them he comes out with a couple more. The uncut version of the stand is probably one of my favorites of his. I like Dreamcatcher, and Hearts In Atlantis as well. Actually, I like all his books.

Yes, I love Stephen King. I just finished The Dark Tower Series. A seven book series that has taken nearly 2 years for me to finish. I have not read too many reviews on the series,(some people think it is a bit too drawn out) but I really loved it. The Stand was my favorite read. I have read it 3 times in total. The cut and uncut versions. I really loved the movie. Another of my favorite books that I read just before The Dark Tower Series was The Eyes Of The Dragon. That was a great fantasy/love novel. I would recommend if you haven't read that one, please do! Oh and how could I ever forget The Talisman? What a great book!

I love Stephen King, but I actually haven't read all that many of his books. Misery is a good one, and so is Dreamcatcher. Most of them i've just seen as movies and I really liked Dreamcatcher (the movie), Thinner, The Green Mile, and Secret Window. Although I haven't read many of his books yet, I own a few more that I really want to read when I get the time. I think he's great at what he does, and really knows how to write a good story with good characters and great suspense.

I used to read King a lot when I was in High school. I loved "Christine", and the "Tommyknockers." I think my all time favorite is his collection of short stories called 4 seasons. It has the stories "Night Shift" and "The Body" (Made into the movie Stand by Me.)
