any suggestion about container gardening

You can grow almost anything in a container that you can grow in a garden. Salad vegetables, like lettuce, radishes and green onions, do well, as do bush types of beans and even squash. Pumpkins would probably not do well, since they like a lot of room to spread and you'd have pumpkin vines all over the place, taking root in the ground around the container.
Other than that, almost anything goes. If you try vining plants like cucumbers or vining squash, you don't have to put a stake in the container, but if you can put the container near a post or fence, it will climb there (with a little help to find it if needed.)

I like a pineapple sage, edible marigolds and chives in the pot for seasoning my cooking. Another containing can have a bush cucumber, a zucchini and summer squash. Those lend to minding and harvesting from a pot also. Bush or vining it is your choice. You know you need to water them more and feed them with some compost for happy plants. Good luck this year.

Hi roshni,
How about Spinach or cauliflower, cabbage? it requires much lesser labour as compared to tomato and chillies, and also u can grow coriander. the leaves of the home grown coriander smells really good and also it gets gives very nice and attractive taste to the curry. Try and please let me know incase if you find some nice ones.
