This is interesting: The longest place name in the world spelled in English is Krungthepmahanakornamornratanakosinmahintarayutthayamahadilokphopnopparatrajathaniburiromudomrajaniwesmahasatharnamornphimarnavatarnsathitsakkattiyavisanukamprasit in Thailand, although it is more commonly known as Bangkok. Lol, I never knew that.

it used to be SUPERCALIFRAGILISTICEXPIALIDOCIOUS, but with the medical terms nowadays, there could be longer words like PNEUMONOULTRAMICROSCOPICSILICOVOLCANOCONIOSIS (also spelled PNEUMONOULTRAMICROSCOPICSILICOVOLCANOKONIOSIS) = a lung disease caused by breathing in particles of siliceous volcanic dust. yes, i looked it up :)
