Its always nice to spend some time in a different environment away from the normal everyday stuff. We tend to do tours around the UK and sometimes book a few weeks in Europe somewhere (Cyprus, Greece) Do you have a regular place you visit or just opt for new adventures?

We will be going to Halifax this year as my sister is getting married this summer and then from there I would like to see if I can get to New Brunswick to see my best friend as she moved away last year and I don't get to see her as much as I would like anymore and we went to visit with her last summer and I loved it where she lives and it would be nice to just get away for a bit in the summer with the children as they loved it up there also .

I probably won't be going anywhere too special this year (a lot of random little trips) but next January I have a Carnival cruise planned to the West Caribbean - Cozumel, Grand Cayman, and Jamaica. I can't wait to eat my weight in cruise food, haha.

I live in the Midwest, USA, and every year travel home to New England, USA. I usually get to spend time in the mountains.. and at the ocean. And see my family at the same time! I usually fly, but I took the train once, thinking I'd see some great scenery when we passed through those beautiful mountains of Pennsylvania.. but we went through them at night! I couldn't believe it. All I really saw was the back end of a lot of towns.. Bad scheduling! I'd say.

I intend to back to the UK. My best friend is living in London so I usually visit her a couple of times every year. I also love to go to Wales and trave through Snowdonia. The scenery is beautiful and I can never get enough of it. Also the Welsh people are very friendly and I love their accent.

My family and I stick to the uk. We go upto skegness and have a wonderful sea side holiday, I've done this ever since I was baby and I used to enjoy going with my grandparents. I could see myself going aboard, because I really value family holidays and I do get very home sick when I'm aboard. ~Joey

Hello spr1967, I have plan to travel around my country, Indonesia. But, this year I only travel to Bukittinggi and Lake Toba in Sumatera. The routes are: Start from my house in Cirebon-West Java. Then I took a train to Merak-Banten via Jakarta. Then I took ferry to Sumatera. In Sumatera, by bus, I go to Bukittinggi-West Sumatera, and then to Lake Toba-North Sumatera. From Medan-North Sumatera, I take an airplane to Jakarta and then took a train to my home city, Cirebon. That's my plan. :)
