What will you do when you retire from work, put your feet up and do nothing or keep active and take trips to new places?

I'd spend more time with my family. Make the most of going places, doing things I've missed. I hope that I do pluck the courage to travel to american, lets just say I hate the thought of flying. Being busy would keep me happy too, until I couldn't. ~Joey

Well I'm already retired actually...I retired about 8 yrs ago (though I did own my own biz for 2 yrs since then) and I pretty much just hang out doing mom/wife stuff...I like to travel when I can but since my husband still works and the kids are in school its a little difficult...I like to do things that i enjoy doing on most days but then there are some days when i just dont want to do anything so I dont LOL

I am a stay at home wife and I spend my time playing music and learning to play more instruments. My husband will be retiring in seven years time, but he intends to keep working on a part time basis. I will then go back to teaching music as I can't really live without it. We will also spend some time travelling but maybe just around the UK, as this is my favorite place.

LOL I envy retiree, I am only 32 and it will take me another 32 years to get there! If I retire, I will leave Canada for sure. I will invest my money in a tropical tourist resort, this way I can enjoy life by the beach, meet new (and sexy) people plus make money while having fun! I wish it can happen sooner but I don't think so LOL

I will get retired from work but not from my life. I shall first see that I will have suffient finance to live the remaining life. Then if possible I shall travell according to my budget. If circumstances permit then I shall try to fulfil any dormant hobby like learning classical music or writing fiction. But beyond all I shall try to study spiritualism through yoga and pranayam under real experts and try to find out what lies beyond our life.

Well I guess I would lke to do a bit of both! I love to travel, and visit new places, and will definately be doing some of that once the 9.00am - 5,00pm grind is over. But I also think it will be nice just to relax, and si back, and have more time to enjoy the simple things in life. Have a nice evening:-))

Right now it seems like a faraway dream, but I hope that when I retire I will have the resources to travel and explore. I also hope that I'll finally write that book I've been talking about for years, instead of just complaining that I can't do it because I'm always too busy : ).
