Most of the Links I have visited are scams or not good to be called as sites for earning. Those sites which pay very less may not be scam but it takes time to earn. So People leave them when they get nothing out of it. ANd hence they started calling them as scams. Well, Thats true. I have also spent many months/weeks/hours on those sites. NOt a good Idea. The best thing to get out of such websites is to do a little research just before you join the program.

I agree, I am very disappointed with the making money link. I think the trouble is that people believe every place on the net is legit. They don't bother to research and they are so excited to be able to make money referrals or otherwise that they post on impulse. We as consumers must then judge for ourselves if these places posted are legit or not.

I think it's sometimes got to do with people wanting to make a quick dollar easily, so they join a program without really researching it in the hopes that it will be okay and then know that they need referrals so just keep plugging it hoping others think the same. For me the thing is that as long as others just keep randomly joining the referral links they find here - people will keep posting them - even those that have been proven to be scams - new people come along that haven't heard or whatever and sign up for them. And rememer though, that not every discussion under making money is related to wanting referrals, sometimes you can learn some useful and interesting things :-)

I have to agree everyone just want's refferls. But mylot happens to be the best site avalible. Bar none, the reason is they don't scam. And if they do then 100's of active users have made lies, and I really don't think that's possible. Most links are either scams, or pay poorly and offer unreachable payout levels.

This is true about people trying to increase their referal count but not all sites are neccesarily scams, but companies do try everything to try and not pay you, for example making links that if you clik them it freezes your account and also when you get to just under the payout limit they will ban you etc. this happens in many p2r sites, that is why i have just stuck with mylot for the past few weeks as it the best site i have came across to make extra money.

I don't know if they do it on purpose or just to share some happy news without proofs. I'll ask for payment proofs before signing up, but most of these sites are not available for Canadian anyway so I hardly get into their traps.
