Have u ever taken a contraceptive pills?

Some of the newer birth control pills may double the risk of life-threatening blood clots, warn experts who are deamanding a ban on their sale. All contraceptive pills are know to carry some risk of blood clots that are a side effect to the hormones. Many of the third-generation low dose oral contraceptives developed in the 1980's contains something known to be risk factor for blood clots American women used as many as 7.5 million prescriptionfor the 3rd genertation oral contraceptive There is going to be a ban on this Any experience u would like to say please comment on this

Almost any sort of medication has some sort of "risk" or side effects! That doesnt mean that it is going to happen, it just means that it is a possibility! Even otc meds have side effects listed on them! I have taken birth control before and the result was twins, LOL!..so I dont take them anymore, I had a tubal ligation instead!

"Prevention is better than Cure" Even the reasearch say that 30 blood clots every 100,000 user.That doesnt minimise the risk. if we fall in that 30 people category then we r the loser. But as far a the risk is minimum but prevention should be taken i.e.to consult ur doctor before taking any pills

No, not me. My wife using a contraceptive pill and it works. Sometime I used a rhythm method and it work for me.
