Must there be another disaster on a global scale to reunite us again

Many will say that the post war years were difficult. Maybe from the economic point of view, but from the society's point of view those were the days when humanity stoped to think about not hurting each other anymore, but to rather reunite to help ourselves build a better place and not to repeat the horrors war has brought to all. As time has passed and generations are changing, being replaced yet by another which has no concerns and awarenes of those times, we again started to live in hate and nontolerance for each other. Therefore must we go thru the same crisis again to learn about what we allready know? Will it be a war or a nature disaster? One way or another, we can avoid this here and now. Are we going to? Do we even want to?

I agree with you. The good thing of disasters is people realized that we are not alone. We are not independent, we depend to someone else. I think God permit all the disasters to teach human that we are only human. We are not God. We can't control everything and we could learn love to each other. Many difficult situations have made people thinking about humanity. And it's good..
