wow no one on this site likes country music!!!!!!!

I never liked country music before but I am liking it more and more - especially Kasey Chambers. She's got a great and unique voice. Who are your favourites?

i like country music. and i also like other varieties of music. but i just think that c&w doesn't have the big international appeal as r&r or other various styles of music. there aren't too many international c&w stars. many years ago, olivia newton-john broke into the music world as a progressive country singer. even groups like the eagles were considered progressive country when they started. but to really break into the c&w arena you have to live in nashville and that can be difficult.

You did get a couple of responses to that discussion. I was one of them. When I first started on myLot I asked a question about fibromyalgia and got, like 3 responses. I couldn't believe there was no one on this site, of the 50,000 plus people, who had fibromyalgia. Since then I have seen several people start discussions on fibromyalgia and get tons of responses. It irked me a bit but I think you have to build up your friends list in order to get lots of responses to discussions.

I like country music by Trisha Yearwood, Shania Twain and Dolly Parton. Though I don't get to listen to lots of country music from the radion because as you pointed no one likes it very much and most DJ's seem to stick to RnB and love songs but i do donwload country music and include them in my favorites.

I love country music. I like a lot of different types of music, but country is my favorite. Keith Urban, Garth Brooks and on and on....

Well you can bet that this ladyy lovessss country music, I grew up around it and that's basically all Iwill listen to! Some of my favorite artists include: brad paisley, george strait, martina mcbride and reba !!

I love country music, I think it's all in how you post the discussion, it has to be appealing in the introduction for most people to even look at it, don't worry your not alone in this site, I Love The Country!!! haha

I love country music!, i do listen to other types of music occasionally but country is what i mostly listen to.

I love all music but especially Country. Country is real aussie music and more people should listen!! If they did they would probably come to find that it is really great.
