Death penalty. Too easy for the perpetrator?

I would rather see someone have to live EVERYDAY surrounded by graphic crime scene pics plastered on their little cell walls for the remainder of their lives. no rec rooms, no cable tv, just everyday spent looking at what they did.Make them suffer unendingly for their actions.Comments?

It costs around $100,000 a year to keep a maximum security prisoner in lockup. In 20 years that's 2 million dollars. Do you know how many starving children we could feed with that money. Or you could buy one poor family a house every year for 20 years. Better to execute them immediately after the trial and use some of that money to aid their victims.

wELL... YOUR IDEA WOULD WORK EXCEPT WE ARE EXECUTING THEM NOW AND NO MONEY IS BEING SPREAD AROUND.... WHAT MAKES YOU THINK IT EVER WOPULD BE?

More acurately, the tax savings are (or at least should be) given back to the people in the form of NOT PAYING in the first place. In other words, our taxes would be able to be lower.
