Is it fair to take away the rights and citizenship of the children from undocumented aliens that have been born and raised here in the US? I heard of this breafly on the news, refering to latin immigrants. My baby's father doesn't have papers and I wouldn't want my child to be kicked out of his birth country because of a few papers. Where would they belong if this where to happen.

Children born in the US are American Citizens - no one will revoke that right. That's one of the big problems about immigration, what do you do with the children of the illegals? They have the right to stay, the parents don't.. Its a tough subject. I would think that the children would go with the parent - baring that another parent is not an American, then they would stay. I would also think that having an American citizen child the person would have more incentive to try to be here legally and go through th appropriate channels.

Parents want what's best for their children. But sometimes life can be hard and you try your best to give everything to your children, if that's not possible in your own country, than what could can you do when all you hear in the news is about people being deported for working. There were even cases on the news of people getting deported as they waited for their green card to arrive. They are really making it hard. But you do have a point in your argument.
