Favorite lure for fishing?

I love to fish and would have to say the best bait that I have ever used is minnows.Its something about them that helps me catch onto fish every time.Do you have a particular lure you like to use when fishing? I guess it all depends on what your fishing for but Im the type of person who doesnt like to go out in the boat to do it.I find it more relaxing to sit off a dock,pier or shore.

I use alot of soft plastics these days. And I seem to be prefering lizard patterns. It really does depend on what I am fishing for. For panfish like crappie and sunnies I like grubs. Good luck this year.
