Perfume can be used on the body - Perfume can be used to make women smell good

I am just curious if many users on here wear (or have ever worn) perfume or cologne? I talk to some people and they tell me that they cannot wear it because they get an allergic reaction. I wear cologne and I think my favorite scent is "Nautica"What brand of perfume/cologne do you wear? Are you allergic to it? Why do you wear perfume/cologne? Do you think it costs too much to buy? Okay I will await your answers:) Pablo

In the warm months, if I am going to be outdoors I don't wear it because it attracts mosquitos. I prefer cologne because perfume lasts a long time and I like to switch scents in the fall/winter months. I have allergies but luckily, not to perfume or cologne. I wear very little and only scents that work well with my body chemistry. I think it is nice to wear a pleasant scent that compliments you..besides I think most women wear a scent of some kind. I think that some designers price their colognes in the high range. Some designers are quite pricey. I usually buy the body cream first to see how much I like it before I purchas the more expensive cologne.

I cannot wear perfume because I get an allergic reaction. I could wear them when they were made of musk, but I cannot tolerate those that are made by chemicals. It is a pity because when I was in my twenties i would buy perfume from Avon all the time and got lots as gifts. Now my eyes water when I go past a perfume counter at Sears. I have some for presents that I dare not use.

Some people can get a reaction even when they aren't wearing it especially if someone is wearing too much. I understand what you are saying about receiving it for presents. It looks like you should sell it on eBay or donate it for someone who could use it. Pablo

For everyday use, I prefer using colognes or body spray. But if I will go out with friends at night, having parties, gatherings etc, I prefer to use perfume to eliminate more the bad odor that surrounds and even for the lasting fragrance that may stay the whole hours.

Yea I like to wear cologne if I go somewhere special, but I wear it a lot even if I don't have anywhere to go. It is pretty nice. Thank you for your post.

i'm a cologne addict...there's no brand in particular. everytime i visited the mall, i went to a cologne store and find something new...a smell that would make me feel fresh all day. well, i prefer wearing cologne than perfume. Right now, i'm using "Angel's Breath"...it smells like a baby...it's cool wearing cologne.

Cool! My favorite cologne is called Crave by Calvin Klein, I wear many colognes, though. Sometimes I don't wear it if I notice it bothers someone. Some people have allergies to the smell. Pablo

I don't have any allergic reactions towards perfume, but I happen to dislike it for past 10 years or so, thanks to some people around me who would wear it and overdone it.Especially I hated coming to work in the morning just to be forced to smell somebody's cheap perfume.I think wearing perfume at workplace should be banned. Those people thought it was cool but in fact they smelled like pimps.Of course, wear it if you like, but to know how much. I hate to be forced to smell somebody in the elevator for example, regardless if it's a man or a woman. I myself used to wear Polo my favourite, but now I only use aftershave and that's enough for me.I even avoid places where they sell perfumes and colognes in big stores.I just have no desire to smell any fragrance. And I wonder about those big bottles of perfume they sell,is it for a life time use or 6 months..Just wondering.

Yes I don't like too much prefume or cologne. It makes me feel sick. I think most jobs have policies about not wearing too much perfume/cologne, at least the ones I worked at before did. I agree with you. Pablo

I love Tommy Hilfiger as well, it has a good scent, I used to have a bottle, but now I am using some other colognes. I will have to buy some more, right?

I prefer wearing cologne...specially those with citrus scent. Some experts say that the citrus cologne can make a person more awake.
