Maniacs rule the lawless roads and freeways

A few days ago, a family of four were killed when the pulled out from a stop sign and were blasted by a large pickup truck. Now these four people did not have the right-of-way but the truck just never stopped or even slowed down and a disastrous wreck ensued. Four adults and a 4-year-old girl were killed in the most horrific way possible. Turned out the driver of the death car was on a cell phone. Oh, what a surprise. The truck driver, who survived, was also talking on his cell phone, too. Hmm. That tells you something about how careless and stupid people have become. Only a maniac will let something interfere with his or her driving. These people, unfortunately, deserved to die or be maimed. It was their choice to be careless, and that is what happens. I can't be sympathetic. It makes me angry.

Yes there are so many careless drivers on the road, you don't have to be doing the wrong thing by using a mobile while driving to cause these dreadful accidents and take the lives of others but in this case they were both concentrating on their mobiles instead of what they were doing on the road. It does make me angry to I don't understand this at all it only takes minutes to take the lives of others.

I think there should be laws passed to make talking on a cellphone illegal while driving...I think the statistics for accidents could really be just as high as the trumped up drinking and driving ones they always rant about.
