Dhoni Surpasses Ricky Pointing ?.... Do they really matter?

India's Mahendra Singh Dhoni has climbed to the second spot while Sachin Tendulkar slipped to 20th place in the international Cricket couuncil (ICC) one-day internationl ranking.In the latest list , realeasedon Wednesday, Dhoni,25, aggregated 115 runs in two innnings, including a match-winning unbeaten 67 in the third one-dayer in Margao against Sri Lanka.
India won the four match series 2-1. Dhoni now averages 46.61 in the shorter version of the game with a strike rate of 98.49. with 779 ratingpoints, Dhoni overtook Austrailia captian Ricky pointing who is now in the third place with 768points.
Pointing did not play in the Austrailia's 0-3 series defeat to New Zealand Tuesday. Mike husseu who led the Australia in the Pointing's absence, is still the No.1 batsman with 817 points.

dhoni can sometimes be able to surpass ricky ponting.dhoni can never be compared with ricky ponting.as,ricky ponting is a batting legend and his performance is much beter than dhoni.dhoni,as usual is no playing good shots
