Battery Low..........What next?

Many a times, when I am travelling long distances continuous for 2-3days, I get upset,as I am not able to contact my friends or relatives. Becoz my battery of the cell would indicate low. This annoys me a lot.
In such situations what would you suggest?

Are you using a Nokia Phone, If so there is a Charger which you could use in an Emergency. That is with the normal AA Batteries, If that is what you are looking at. If you mean that you get bored, amy be you should takeup reading, that helps to combat the boredom

this annoys me like anything. even though i donot travel much, my father does and let me tell you it feels awfully bad when i can't get thru someone i love.
what the first user has suggested is really commendable and i will look for that TRAVEL BATTERY. my father keeps a charger but seldom gets to plug it on on trains.
