Have you ever seen a ghost?

I use to have a house cleaning service. At this particular house where I went twice a month, the owner would leave and return a couple of hours later. Even though I was alone in the house, I always felt as though I was being watched. Because I am basically a practical person, I just brushed it off and decided that it was my imagination. One day, however, as I was cleaning the carpet, I looked up and happened to look down the hall where I saw a woman standing there looking at me. As I returned her gaze, I realized that I could see right through her. About that time, she turned and walked into the bathroom. I was all set with that and was ready to get out of dodge but then I decided that if she could hurt me -- she would have. So I went and looked in the bathroom and no one was there. I finished the carpet and left. Care you share your thoughts?

That would have scared the crap right out of me. I'm always hoping to see a ghost, as are alot of people. I've only seen what I think is a ghost out of the corner of my eye, almost like a shadow in your periphial vision. When I was a kid I had an imaginary friend that I to this day wonder if it was a ghost or imagined. Did you ever see her again?

I never saw her again. AlthoughI may have if I had continued to clean his house. A few months after this, I moved to Spokane, Wshington to work in and Adult Family Home so I really didn't have much opportunity to see her again. However, I did see another one In Tauton, Mass. and there are ALWAYS bizzare happenings in my childhood home. Lights going off, loud bangings, doors opening and closing, voices no one can account for, music where ther should be no music, items dissapearing...

Really freaky, especially if you say you saw right through her. If I would have seen her, you wouldn't have caught near that house no more. I would have ran away and never return. These things really scare me! But it's funny, because only when I think of their possible existence, I'm a bit afraid of th dark. When I don't think about them at all, it's completely neutral for me where I am walking and under what lightning conditions.
