Have you been in a relationship which has lost all meaning and you still have just hung around till the other person made the first move to split up? We often feel guilty about initiating a split, but often it is required to do so. So how best to do it in order to cause the least amount of fuss and pain? After all, both the people would benefit from such a split-up.

The best thing is to do it as quick as you can..and dont be a victim of a relationship that you know already the end point.. It is better not to invest too much emotion when you know alreadu where it was headed..

I agree you dont want to keep the relationship going when you feel that it is heading no where. It will only make you even more unhappy.

I think one of the best ways to end a relaitonship is to be honest. Sit the other person down (in person over the phone, email or txt is just poor taste). and talk to them tell them how you feel and that it is best if you ended it before both end up being unhappy.
