I have been working as a customer service ooficer for the last 9 years, and there were points in my life that I wanted to call it quits. You know our clients are so hard to please and they just demand for the right of service and demand for the best. Our company is an internet service provider, with this job , I know that the system is not perfect and technical adjustments happen; and then what 's next, calls would flood and most of them are too irate to wait or too pissed off to listen to our explainations and the like. They say I have the worst job in the world, and who said I have the best job. Who would want to be scolded, who would want to be paid for a nag or far more worst get paid to be insulted. Sometimes, I think of running away fromt his kind of job , but, still I count myself lucky enough to have a free internet access every day, I am blessed that I work in a very sfe environment, beautiful and caring officemates and lots and lots of good things. And most of all I have something to earn a living which could somehow oprovide for my needs. I am happy with the kind of would I have, but Iwould be happier if I earn more..... How about you? can you share about your job are you happy or not?

This is a very interesting question and an excellent post Zelmarq. For the past nine years I've been teaching English to adults in Thailand, and I love my job. Before starting this job I was credit manager for an international company in Melbourne for 16 years. That job paid well but it was boring. At the end of 1996 they made all employees redundant, except for the four directors, and outsourced everything. In other words they sold us out to try and satisify the damands of the shareholders. In hindsight, it was good for me. Keep at it, and keep up the quality posts.

Oh sorry, I forgot to add you must have the patience of Jobe to handle a job like customer service. You must encounter some very difficult people, and situations.
