I have seen people mentioning doing that but I personally don't do it. I rarely ever start discussions. I don't see a problem with it though. It's your discussion and you are looking for some responses. Afterall, we are here to discuss things we are interested in right?

I do tend to look at the top discussions first, mainly because that is the first on the list. I don't think "bumping" is wrong as such, I reckon it just seems to appear like that because you notice that discussion thread first

who pumps them? and what exactly constitues bumping them? cos this is a grey area..can you define it for me please..so if i am doing any thing wrong i need to know about it..thanks for this topic..

Hi, I'm new at this so hope you don't mine me asking what does "having threads bumped" mean, even if it shows me what NOT to do but then does everybody do it?
