Setting me straight...

I got a response to one of my discussions today that really made me stop and think. I had it pointed out to me that by choosing a best response so quickly I can mke other MyLotters feel their response is insignificant. I read and rate all the responses I get, but never thought picking a best response would have this effect on other people, and for that I am sorry. I guess I'm an impatient person. Then when I thought I was changing my best responses I wasn't at all! I hadn't picked one to begin with, which led to humiliation and really feeling like a heel. So now I'm impatient and scatterbrained. Anyway, I'm going to start waiting a couple days before I choose a best response, and I'm grateful to the person (youknow who you are wink..wink..) that pointed this out to me. Thanks MyLotters for being such a great community.

I don't think there is any set time you have to wait or number of responses you have to wait for. Sometimes you read that first response and think "thats exactly the answer I was looking for, sums it up perfectly". In that case that will be the best response. Also I still have a few unresolved because I haven't had a response to those yet that i would consider the best.
