In the words of George Bernard Shaw, money is “the most important thing in the world: It represents health, strength, honor, generosity, and beauty as conspicuously as the want of it represents illness, weakness, disgrace, meanness, and ugliness.” How many of u agree on this...? Don't u think money has become successful to gathere much importance than relations/emotions...?

yes money indeed is a part of our everyday life and important too. man makes money and money makes man, but money brings worries rather than contentment, i think you must have heard the story of the king who was granted the wish "that everything he touches, should be turned into gold", and one day he mistakenly touches his daughter", even though he had all the riches of the world , he was really guilty for his wish, because relationships are more important than money, you are never guilty of your relationships, but the want for money or not having it only brings guilt.

Yes, now a days money is everything. The one who has the money is regarded, respected and given importance. The one who is lacking money or is not rich, is not given much importance, despite his other qualitites. Relations are measured in terms of money. Every where it is lavish show of money, whether you take clothes, jewellary, cars, property and furnishing. Everybody wants to impress you with his money power. And I think those who have plenty of money do not bother about others or say relations, they do not have time to ask about a well being of a relative. Leave apart, relatives, they do not have time for their near and dear family members. They do not have time to listen to thier (family members')problems, difficulties and experiences. They are of the opinion that money can buy everything. Emotions between relatives, friends are slowly and steadily dying down. Now a days money is supreme.

I agree with u partly. We sometimes forget money if, amount concerned is not much. As I've said in the comment above. U can have a look through the other responces, all state that, money is not that much important, & I said I agree too, because its not possible to argue with somebody we r not familiar with. (May be its like that for them) But nowadays, its money who is working, somebody pays attention to us only if we have money. Lets part of parents & brother, sister; for other relations its money which binds us. (I've experinced this, that's why write like that).

I beg to disagree. While money is needed for the things stated above, it does not represent them. Even if you gain the whole world, if you lose your soul, what does it profit you?

Money is important and money does have value but money is just worthless when compared to the feeling of love and being loved.Money sure cant emotions. With respect to all these money is just a worthless bauble.
