In the 2007 the women have more power than theirs mothers and grandmothers?Do you think that this freedom is positive at 100% or that this power has damnaged in part the woman figure? Now the women (I'm talking for Italy)are not so hurried to go married and they think more at the carrier than to create a family. The relationships from men-women are changed too and the women sometime adopt a mascouline behavoiur? What do you think about this?

In chinese traditional teaching the younger should respect the elder so mothers and grandmothers have more power than their daughters and granddaughters in the family. I don't think that too much emphysis in career rather than family is not very proper for a woman coz she may lose a happy family life later on. I think woman should not be masculine otherwise she might lose her natural duty of being faminine.

I don't think that todays women are powerfull. May be they are agressive, short tempered.

We certainly do have more power and say in how matters go. Its not 100% positive in my views though. From a young age, my father taught me to be independent, he taught me how to fix things like the lawn mower and chain saw etc, so that when I was older I could do it myself. He must have known what was going to happen. Women now cant get any assistance when they need it from a man, when I used to drive trucks, if one of the tyres blew, I would have every guy I worked with stop and watch, not one of them would help, they'd just comment on how women wanted rights well now they have it. I never asked them for help, but they always asked me to help when a motor needed fixing. As for marriage, all my female friends complain they cant find a man to marry, all the male friends say women are too independent they want someone to be old fashioned. Maybe things arent for the best, but I do like my independence.

Thanks for your very interesting comment.I think too that I'm lucky to be indipendent, but sometime the women abuse of their indipendence.
