E-Gold account compromised and money stolen

Its a friend's, a mod at egoldclub.biz.
First, he could not login to his email account, and then found out that his e-gold account compromised, and could not login, and the money there stolen.
Also some of his other account in high yield investment programs got compromised too.
Possible reasons:
using the same password for different accounts! Well, thats a stupid way for any online business.

whew! i used to do that. same username and same passwords. i did that so i am sure i won't be able to forget anything. but then i realized it's not right. so, i started to get a small notebook, wrote the name of the program, and my new passwords per program. this is the best way to get away from hackers. it's not still 100% safe. but atleast, it's the best way to avoid getting hacked. or else, all my hard earned money will just get to waste. thanks for this reminder! most people need to be told about this.

Sad to hear that.
Dont always have much kept in my e-gold accounts, and always have necessary measures to protect my computer.
