fantastic, aren't they.
just because they're retired doesn't mean they're old. our first hound was 3 when we got him.
they are really good natured, good on the lead and don't need a great deal of excercise, and even less grooming.
such a shame that more people don't find them appealing when they really are such good companians.

My partner and I have been looking into greyhound rescue ever since we got our first sighthound (a whippet). They're so beautiful and low-maintenance.
Our ideal family would include an Italian Greyhound, Whippet, and Greyhound. Small, medium, and large. Cheesy, I know.
But really, I can't wait for the day that we're ready to adopt one. So far, the timing just hasn't been right for us. But one day!

oooh! I really love greyhounds. My dog right now is a greyhound mix and she is fantastic. A lot of the attributes we love most about her come from her greyhound side. My husband and I are considering getting another greyhound- a rescued racing dog. I think we're going to wait until we move, however, to alleviate the stress on the new doggie.

I've never owned a rescue greyhound, but I grew up with a greyhound and whippets when I was younger, and now have another whippet. If I could afford it and had a little more space I would certainly consider a rescue greyhound as they are such loving, devoted, friendly dogs, and definitly companion dogs.
