Most treasured gift,,,from whom????

Today i was just browsing in my jewelry box and i happenned to check those jewelries that i dont use anymore..Can you believe i saw the Locket that my mom gave me when i turned the age as teenager.It has picture of both of them(mom & Dad)I will never forget what she has told me that it was from my grand mother gave it to her when she married w/ my dad.I din't even see her.It looks really antique crafted in yellow gold.so i thought when i get my 1st grand daughter i will give these locket to her.You mylot friends do you have one most treasured gift given to you that is still kept because you consider that it's your most treasured gifts ever given to you????

I do. One of my friends knows that I like dragons, and he drew this BEAUTIFUL dragon for me with his favorite colored pencils. Things people buy for you are nice; but when an artist gives you something he put so much of his time and effort into, it's like he's giving you a little piece of his soul.

I know that this isn't the most expensive gift, but the things given to me by the best friend that I ever had (whom I still miss, and haven't been able to talk to in nearly eight years now) are my most treasured gifts. Not only did she give me her copy of the entire set of the Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy books - the big compendium with all of the novels in the series put together, with a bonus story, which is something that I would have wanted dearly anyway because they're my favorite books in the world - but she also queued up for a long time at a Doctor Who convention and got me the autograph of one of my favorite people, which is something that I never expected her to do and would not have asked her to do even if I would have thought of it. The autographed picture is kept between pages of that book, so that I don't lose it. Both are very treasured gifts to me. I miss my friend so much.

The mother of my boyfriend gave my an antique ting of her family,she moved me a lot and I cried because this ring is handed down from mother to daughter,so It has a very important meaning.She has also another daughter and some grandoughter,but she choose me to give this gift.I consider it the most important treasured gift .
