Do you go to gay clubs if you are straight?

I have a question, if you are straight do you still go to gay clubs? I personally do. To me gay clubs are safe in the aspect of, noone will try to pick you up and keep hitting on you. They are fun and there are no arguments or anything like that. They are pretty peaceful people to be around in general. To me, the ones who are gay, know you are straight and they just don't mess with you. As long as you are not there to start trouble or pick at thier ways, I don't see a problem. And they play great music! What do you think?

Back in the day I used to go to gay clubs all the time. Most of my good friends were gay men, we loved to dance, I really miss that but oh the joys of parenting, I got to bed at 10 pm lol. I actually met my husband at a gay club too! He got drunk and his friends dragged him there. So you never know what can happen, we'll tell our son that we met at church of course shhh!

When I lived in Holland, my room mate was gay. We would go out almost every night to some gays bars, gay clubs. I found there the same thing as you, basically we were going there to hang out and have fun together better than just normal "straight" places where we could not enjoy ourselves or each other as much! so basically, same thing as you! If you enjoy it much more than any other place then I do not see any problem with it at all, it is not like those places are reserved to the gay community only, they also welcome you if you are not one yourself, which we cannot always say about all the straight places unfortunately!

Thank you for your post and it is nice to know I am not the only one who sees the difference in gay clubs and straight clubs. You are so right when you say they welcome you, they really do as long as your just there to have fun and not knock thier lifstyle.

I have been to a few gay clubs, and have taken my husband. I don't see a difference, if you are going to have fun, it does not matter if it is a gay or straight club.

Our local gay club has turned into the hottest spot in town! They play the best music, have the best Dj's, and the overall atmosphere is just awesome. I ttok my hubby ouit with a gay friend of mine and my hubby ended up getting free drinks all night! LOL I thought he may be weirded out by it, especailly when my friends boyfriend gave him a little bite, I'll be darned if my hubby didn't nip him back! It was a blast! LOL

Cool! Our gay club is not the happening place here, usually people just think that if you go to a gay club here, you are gay. I don't ever foresee it being a happening place for straight people too but for those who don't knock it and try it out, find that they do enjoy it. That is funny about your husband, mine was totally bucked up in the beginning because he was worried that men would be hitting on him and he would get mad, but soon seen that it is not like that at all. As a matter a fact seen some of his friends there, that he found out are gay and he ahd no clue. I t was funny.

I agree with you. I'm bi but my husband is straight and we would go to gay clubs alot.and not to pick anyone up. We just enjoyed the people the music and all the fun they have.We had so much fun at the gay clubs so keep on going.I know I will be.

i know a lot of straight girls who go to gay clubs because they know that they will be able to dance and have a good time without a bunch of drunk dorky guys hitting on them.
