Heard a dicussion on the radio today about banning motor-sports due to it's bad impact on the environment. It contributes to global warming. What are your thoughts on this?

Motorsports hardly contribute to global warming. Global warming is a by product of industrialisation, increase in personal vehicles. Motor sports are just another medium of entertainment for people. On the contrary, i feel the people should have discussed about reducing use of personal vehicles to control pollution.

oh! comeon!!! there are several more serious factors that contribute to this GLOBAL WARMING... i dont think motor sports should be banned ever... specially for the reason that is being mentioned... i think its a kool sport... other than it being extremely exciting and risk taking sport of all time

Scare mongers at it again I see. Put simply, no they shouldn't ban motorsports. The money invested into this sport in order to keep it 'clean' is hugely expensive. I think the guys at your radio station should do some more research. Thanks for bringing it up though :)
