I'm going to Las Vegas in the first week in April. I am undecided on which casino to stay at. I'd appreciate any advice on where to stay to have fun. Thanks.

I went to vega last june. And we stayed at the Luxor. It's between Excalabir and Mandaly Bay, and super close to the airport. It's super easy to get to both ,on the free tram, you can also walk...it's a long walk. Everything is really big in Vegas. The Luxor is egyptian themed, it's the giant pyramid, with the spotlight...which makes it really easy to find yur way home. We got a really good deal through Expedia to stay there. Origionally we were going to be in one of the pyramid rooms, but we arrived later than expected due to flight delays and rental car delays. so they gave our cheap rooms away and upgraded us to suites. That was awesome! Like most hotels, there is a casio, pools, and shops. One good thing is there was a food court which had slightly less expensive food. This was great for quick meals on the run. Also there are buffets if you want a bigger sitdown meal. It looked like if you tried to check in during prime check in times, that there was a pretty long line. But the casino is right there so if there are two of you you could take turns exploring. We had a good time there (there is an arcade too), and if I were to go back, I would think about staying there again.

We went in the middle of December and stayed 6 days at the Excalibur. It is located right on the Strip, so we were within walking distance to a lot of things. They also have a monorail that goes from there to the Mirage and Mandalay Bay. It was great. We had a blast. We also saw their dinner show, "Tournement of Kings", and had the time of our lives. There is so much to see and do in Vegas now. Even with 6 days, we didn't get to do all that we wanted to. Are you going for a particular occassion or just on vacation? We ended up getting married while we were there, but we didn't plan it ahead of time. I hope this helps in your decisions.

Thanks, just going with some friends to get away. I am looking forward to playing some poker.
