Where would you choose to study?

If you had to choose between studying in your native town/country and studyind away from home what would be your choice? Why?

i would like to study in my own city, i would travel as far as 5 miles and thats it as i dont really like being away from home. i also have this problem where i dont like staying over in anybody elses house. i only like to stay in my own flat or a hotel
