I know that I eat out pretty much everyday of the week, but I have specific places that I love the most. My favorite sit down restaurant is "On the Border." What's yours, and if it's not a chain..where is it located(region) and what would you suggest ordering? Mine is located throughout the midwest USA. I recommend beef empanadas and cheese enchiladas

If I'm feeling flush I love to go to Alborz, a persian resturant in Austin TX. I can get yummy lamb kabobs and devine sour cherry rice!!! Most of the time their taboli is great, and even when it isn't great - its still good. If I'm not feeling so flush, I enjoy Ramoano's Macaroni Grill. But I love Italian food. I have trouble with chinese because of the corn starch they thicken food with & can only go to resturants where they have someone that speaks pretty good english. It also is a problem for Mexican food - gee I wonder why. But I recently went to a mexican food chain & the waitress wrote on there that the meal (that could be made corn free) was for someone with serious allergies & it came out without any corn. That was a pleasure & will probably have me going back again! Oh, and since I live in TEXAS, not eating mexican food is something of an issue! In fact, my brother hardly knows there's any other kind of food!

The Macaroni Grille rocks! :-) I love their bread (it has a salty crust) and it is so much fun to draw on the tabletops with the crayons they give you! :-)

My favorite restaurant is Aladdin's. They have a great selection of fresh and healthy dishes, many vegetarian, at a great price.

Restaurant Toyko...but it has been closed because of the health of the owner. It had real, traditional Japanese food. I also like Dierdorf and Harts steak house

What is On the Border? It sounds really good.. You're making me hungry. For sit down mexican we have a local joint here called El San Jose and they are so freakin good. I love their white cheese sauce.

There is a restaurant in Boston called Fire & Ice which is a favorite of mine. You get to create your own meal by filling a bowl with whatever pasta, veggies, meat/seafood you want and then select a sauce. There is a 9 foot circular grill at the center of the restaurant and they cook your food up right then and there and the servers will leave warm flour tortillas or bowls of sticky rice at the table for you to have with your meal too. It's great. Plus, it is "all you can eat" so you can make as many trips as you would like to the grill and you can try all sorts of different combinations. It's a ton of fun!

Our favorite is a family owned Italian restaurant that has the best pizza every! It's called Papa Sal's. It's located just east of Pittsburgh, PA. We get take out pizza pretty often, but also like to go their to eat dinner as a family.
