Rats and mice like the same things as people and follow us all over the world. Concern about rats has increased recently because surveys suggest the rat population is growing, many becoming immune to poisons so what is to be done?

me too, i have also heard that you are never more than 9 feet away from one even in your own home. I think putting down contraception for them is a good idea blessed be

I Don't think that i have ever seen a wild rat, but i've seen rats that people have had as pets and they really are pretty smart animals. Instead of poisoning them and they die in walls and stink, i think they should come up with a chemical that sterilizes them, so they can't reproduce! That would be a pretty good idea wouldnt it? cause they only live a few years, so the population would go down drastically if Alot of people in your neighbourhood all used it. What do you think? i dont even know if its possible, but it sounds good to me :)

Hi Eskaren, I was not aware of this, I have to be honest though I have not come across many Rats in my Life, if they are getting amune to the Poison then I think it is time they find something like they have for mice a Rat trap. Surely it is time then to change the Chemicals in the Rat Poison if they are becoming amune to this one that is in it now. I mean they keep find something new for People so why not Rats?

In my country Lot's of rats and mice specially in the province. They are make damaging the rice plants, but we do is just ignored them and leave them what they want to do because they said if you always find a way on how to kill them the more they make damage all your product's. I think they are so talented and they are listening what your saying about them. Specially in my province lot of products their are rice, so the owner is they do only to talk them slowly with pleased, sounds like funny but its true, and thanks God they don't damage all.

yes i was shocked with just how many rats there are on earth and the number of diseases they can carry. Here in the U.K, it is estimated there are more rats than human beings, quite scary really.
