I keep seeing this pop up on ads here, so I'm wondering. Would you use one for your babysitter, or does this violate any trust you have with that person who watches your children? I think once when I was babysitting, the parents had one since there was a teddy bear like this http://www.vigilanceandsecurity.com/product/TB300 sitting on top of the entertainment center. It was never there the previous times I was there, both of the parents worked 2 jobs each, so they had a few babysitters on rotation. I just waved at it, I was a good babysitter so I didn't have any problems! Interesting enough, they had me babysit for a year before I moved!

I think any good parent would be interested in how their child was being treated by their sitter, and if there was ever a question on how my kids were being treated, you bet I'd set one up, of coarse, I stay home with my own and watch a few others, And if the other parents ever questioned how their child was being treated, they may feel free to record me as well, I'm sure they would be pleased by their findings. I would'nt feel violated in any way, I would be impressed that they cared for their own childs well being to go through such lenghths to check on their safety away from home.
