first-day-in-school jitters

my kid was already bored at home that's why i sent him to school in the middle of the semester. he is just a sit-in to the class. it's for enjoyment's sake. so we started to buy things for him and suddenly he refused to attend school. i paid the tuition already. will i push him to attend or will I listen to my child? is it just school jitters?

I think you need to talk to the school. Express that yo feel it isn't doing anything for him and see what they have to say. It might be worth giving him a bit longer to see if he settles down better before you make a final decision.

I never had to face such problem because my son always loved going to school.....he is studying in third grade which is early to his age ....I REMEMBER HIS FIRST DAY ...when he came out and said mama all the kids were crying as if he was a big boy....
Did your child enjoy going to school when he first went to the school???If yes, then ask him why he is not liking the school now...sometimes there are some bully who trouble the child and due to them child refuses to go to school ...or may be his teacher is very strict .....in anyways you can discuss this problem with his teacher ...she will be able to give you better in sight....

Thanks for the response, how is your kid ? Is he coping up well now....hope you spoke to the teacher and the problem is sorted out....
