I am very happy with AVG software from grisoft.com. It is free to home users and updated every day. It doesn't seem to have the same problems that Symantec/Norton and MacAffee have in upsetting other programs.

I never heard of SOPHOS , i heard that Kaspersky and NOD 32 r the best anti-virus softwares. I recommend you to take kaspersky , as i am using it and it recently caught about 200 viruses in a single day and its still scanning and its still catching viruses everyday . Hope my reply helps U and do tell later which anti-virus u took OK ?

Do not use Norton. Heavy and invasive. The best is Avast (www.avast.com). Free, real-time scan, high detection rate, quick auto-update. Try it.
