How do you feel about people who wear furs? Do you think killing animals for people to wear their fur is wrong, or ok to do?

I think if they want to wear a deer, pig or cow coat...rock on. Because the meat is not wasted. I came from a long line of hunters and believe that if you kill it...you eat it. I dont see any reason for a someone to kill a tiger or a mink just so J-Lo has a coat. When I was growing up hunting was a way of survival. My dad, brothers and I hunted and ate everything we killed because we had a large family and w/o it we may have starved. But to kill an animal just for it's fur is wrong, I believe

that was basically my thought but what if the meat went to feed other animals? Do you think that is acceptable-Zoo animals gotta eat too & other wise it probably costs tax payers money if the zoo's are maintained by the state. +'s 4 U :)

Despite people's beliefs about animals, the modern fur industry is sadistic and cruel. Anyone supporting such a disgusting industry, is as guilty as those people who create so much suffering in the world.....

I have never worn fur. But there is humane way of animal killing. We should respect the animals more. http://www.peta2.com/takecharge/swf/fur_farm.swf check this site only if you have strong nerve.

As long as the animal being killed for it is not near extinction, then i guess its ok. Does not spell a difference with the daily killing of pigs for our meal.

It does not disturb me at all that people use the furs and skins of animals for practical reasons, provided the meat of the animal does not go to waste. I like the way the American Indian utilized as much of the beast as they could - the bones for tools and etc.

I think it is SO wrong! Because many times in order to have the fur still nice and soft and at the best shape the skin the animals live. Since I am an animal lover I am extremely against animal cruelty of any kind. Oh and who ever put that link up...omg! I cry everytime I witness any form of animal cruelty and wish I could just jump the the abuser's back and stab his eyes out, rip their skin off...kill them I don't know.
