No, I don't believe it's a problem unless your cat is groaning because you haven't feed it. Cats normally make sounds when they are happy, atleast my cat does. She loves to have attention. If you think there is a problem, then I suggest you take your cat to a vet to get a check up and ask all your quetions there. Good luck
