Let me make it clear to all of you! i am not a christian! but when i read this i was awestruck! Do take time and go through this! Death is certain but bible talks about untimely death!! make a personal reflection about this, read till the end! It is written in bible (Galatians 6:7) "Be not decieved, God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap" Here are some men and women who mocked God JOHN LENNON : During his interview with an American Magazine, he said " Christianity will end, it will disappear! i dont have to argue about that, i m certain of it! Jesus was ok, but his subjects were too simple! today we are more famous than him! (1966) after claiming to be more famous than Jesus christ Lennon was shot six times! TANCREDO NEVES : (one time president of Brazil) During Presidential campaign, he said if he got 500000 votes not even God could move him from presidency! sure he got the votes but he got sick a day before being made president and passed away!! THE MAN WHO BUILT TITANIC : After the construction of Titanic a reporter asked him how safe the Titanic would be, With an ironic tone he said "not even God can sink it" The result i think you all now how it went down! MARILYN MINROE : She was visited by Billy Graham during presentation of a show, he tried to pass on the good words of bible to her, after hearing what he had to say she said "i dont need your Jesus!", in a very venomful tone! We all know what a miserable life she lead and the way she died! only if she had listened! Christine Hewitt (a Jamaican Journalist) said the Bible was the wrost and most decietfull book ever written, in june 2006 she was found burnt beyond recognition in her vehicle! Many of us forget that there is no name that was given so much authority as the name of Jesus Many have died but only Jesus died and rose again! and he is still alive! "what benefit does it have, if a man gains the whole world but loses his soul? what can man give in exchange of his soul? (Matthew 16:26) After i had read this i was shaken to my core!! what do you people think? what your views and opinions on this? please do answer!

You are making a mockery of the name of God. How can you say that John Lennon was punished by being murdered because he said that the Beatles were more famous than Jesus. I tell you something. In the film Supersize Me they did a test with children testing their knowledge of famous people with picture cards. The test proved that Ronald MCDonald was more famous than Jesus. Besides that why would God choose another person Mark Chapman to kill John Lennon. Mark Chapman had no god given vengenance motive. He killed John Lennon because he wanted to find back his identity not because god instructed him to kill John Lennon. And don't take a bible text out of its context to give an opinion about certain people.

WOW there! hold your horses! how am i mocking God here? did i say anywhere that Lennon was punished because he assumed he was more famous than Jesus? I just implying that circumstances, or coincidences shook me to my very core! you are the one who is making a mountain out of mole hill! didnt i make it clear that i am not a christian? didnt i ask for opinions and views? i wouldnt have done that if i was affirming all this! Lets say for the sake of argument that even if i did believe that God did all this to the non-believers and i was wrong in case of Lennon, what about the others? Anyways thanks for your post and thoughts! its appreciated!

Sorry I clearly misread that you are not a christian. But there are many christians who would write the same things you do. So that's basically what I was angry about. If you had been a christian I would have said the same. People don't die because they don't accept Jesus. This bibletext has been used too often to scare people that's why I called it a mockery if one uses God like that. Sorry for the misunderstanding.

It is so true. God cannot be mocked. We will all die, that is a fact. We will also stand before God at the Judgement and give an account of how we lived our lives. None of us is promised a tomorrow. We never know what may happen to us. The most dangerous thing any of us can do is to put off giving our lives to Jesus Christ. Satan will deceive you into thinking, "oh you are healthy...you will live a long time. Wait a while to give your life to Jesus. Go on and sin and have some fun!" Ohhhh! We hear about people dying suddenly in car accidents, etc every day. I'm sure some of them were in excellent health. The time to give your life to the Lord is NOW! I pray all will come to know the Lord! God bless.

We will all die one day. It doesn't matter if it is today or 50 years from now. When we die, our souls will live on forever in Heaven or in hell. So, if we dare to mock God, we will be punished on the Day of Judgement if we do not repent and receive His forgiveness.

If you base your answer on this text than you are out of context. No disrespect meant.
