Sometimes I find them amusing, but too many times I find them quite exasperating. It tends to start conflicts here in mylot. One user complaining that the topic is not original, and then goes on to barging in the other discussion arguing with the other poster that the topic was copied and so on and so forth. I have seen this quite often, actually.
Although I found out that some of the members here actually asks for permission first from the original poster before they do anything.
So what's your take on this? Anybody else has any thoughts about this matter?

We should all have to understand that this site is for all who wants to share their own interests, to achieve of what they seek and to learn in different aspects of life. Mylot do allows these, since we are now less than 73,000 members here and some do share the same interest. All we have to do is to make the choice to whom we think we are more entitled to respond to..

You know, one time someone started a spinoff on a discussion that I made about snowballs being sold on ebay, and I was really flattered! I like knowing that my topics are getting paid attention to, honestly. As long as someone doesn't copy a topic of mine word for word, I really can't be bothered to be upset about it. With over 70 thousand people on the site, you know that some similar topics are going to come up every day. They aren't always meant to be spinoffs or copies of other people's posts. And even if they are, as long as the person starting the spinoff topic isn't being rude or hateful in some way, I would find it pretty flattering.
