Most people I know get more and more stuff - a lot of which they really do not need at all. I have quite a few things i have no use for. I have so much furinture i have some in storage. I've gotten stuff from relatives during the years that I feel i want to keep even if i do not have any need for it.
Do you have things you do not need? What is the most unneccesary thing you own?

I actually give almost everything that I don't need to someone who does need it. I hate to have clutter in my home. There are a few things that I have held on to that someone in my family has made. I plan on passing those items done to my children when they are old enough for the responsibility. Right now I think the most useless thing I own is a curling iron. I don't curl my hair but I do curl my daughters hair about once a year. Since it is small I keep it around.

I try to give things to charity or to someone that needs the stuff i do not need. It becomes hard to do that with things that relatives have made me or given me. I am afraid I will hurt their feelings if I part with it. But I know that I cannot keep everything. We are in the process of buying a farm - maybe i will finally get to use all the stored furniture.
