I read this question in a book whose name I can't remember! and I was confused. So I thought of confusing others too. So what do you think? What is the difference between a fact and a law of science?

i think a fact is something we know is true but we do not have a mathematical equation to prove it or some other way to give a proof for it, we just know its true and a law is something that has a proof for it for example energy = mass x square of speed of light.. i.e . E=mc2
