how to stop yahoo tracking you

do you know yahoo keeps the tracks of the user surfing record, once the user logs in the yahoo server, till the time u logout the surfing detials by the user is stored in the cookies of the yahoo server, any one has an idea how to prevent oneself on been traked for the surfing records, please proivde information

if yahoo tracks the user it is only for informational purpose and will not harm the user in any way, and i think most websites track users.
