My kids love snacks on the weekends and I am running out of ideas. Do you have any snacks you make that kids love?

My friend brought me a bag of mini mandarin oranges, and my daughter loves it. She will open the fridge, get one, peel it and enjoy. I think that's a good idea, and a good portion for kids. Plus, we the mom, don't need any preparation and it is such a healthy snacks.

When I was a child, we would take our fruit yogurt (the kind that is already mixed up, not fruit on the bottom) and freeze it. It was almost like eating ice cream. Also, apple slices and peanut butter, banana with peanut butter, celery sticks with peanut butter, rice with a little sugar and cinnamon, cut apples with sugar and cinnamon, cheese stick wrapped in a ham or turkey slice, english muffin or bagel pizzas (take an english muffin or bagel, put a little tomato sauce on there and cheese, stick in the oven or microwave), simple quesadillas with salsa... there are endless possibilities!

Cut up fresh fruit, fruit smoothies, whole grain bread with PB and raisins on top, baby carrots, applesauce, fruity yogurt, banana bread, mini toast pizzas, cereal snack mix.
