The first time I saw the Who was in 1969. Woodstock was coming up. It's amazing that they still tour.

I envy everyone that has watched them, i am such a huge fan of the who, im listening to them as i write this message, (the song being you better you bet) they were and are all incredibly gifted masters at each of there parts within the band, and one of the most influential bands that this country(england)have produced (along with the kinks. The small faces, the beatles, the jam and many more) mod music is still very much alive and well :)

They came here a few months ago. I really wanted to see them, but the tickets were far too expensive. It would have been fun to go with my dad, since he was a fan a little after the the "original" generation of Who followers... but we just couldn't shell out that much cash for one show.

I've seen The Who three times - twice in Vancouver B.C. and last October in Edmonton, Alberta. They still put on a solid show and Roger Daltrey can still belt it out. Pete Townshend is somewhat less edgy than he used to be, but aren't we all more mellow as we get older!
