Hi Edmund : I'm glad to tell you that the positive thinking and visualization technique in "The Secret" truly works!! I've actually applied for a job in Jan this year and I really liked the location and job nature. But I didn't hear from them till Feb so I knew my chances were very slim. It so happened that in Feb we learned about "The Secret" when you kindly screened it to us at the welfare association. The DVD really enlightened me & I immediately put the technique into practice. So instead of being bitter of not getting the job, I think positive thoughts that I would be blessed from everywhere in landing the job. At the same time, I kept a very clear visualization of the office environment in my mind whenever I'm doing my daily chores and before I sleep. What happened about a week ago really amazed me. I received a call from a friend who worked in a similar industry informing me that there's a vacancy available in her association. I went for the interview and saw that the office setup was rather similar to the visualization that I had strongly imprinted in my mind. I've been accepted for the post among the few candidates & have started work a few days ago. The positive thinking and strong visualization that I carried with me constantly truly ATTRACTED the job that I wanted just like a wish come true - and in such a short time!! This is a side-note but on yesterday, the company that I've mentioned earlier called and said that they have a vacancy for me in a different department and asked whether I was interested. I watched the movie about six months ago and The Secret of Life has been around for ages. At the end of the day, it is about taking personal responsibility for one's life and not making excuses. The Secret of Life is manifested in different forms .... NLP, positive thinking, self-fulfilling prophecy, visualisation, what you send out to the universe will come back to you because energy is a thought form.
