Have you ever participated in one? Did you enjoy it? were the results happy? I have once. And I am afraid it burnt me of ever wanting to do so again. It was a scrap granny square afghan. We were to all make the squares a specific size, and made something like 30 squares each (they were tiny squares) all that time, the expense of mailing only to receive back misshaped squares, squares with dropped stitches (especially on the corners!) and completely disregarding of the size guideline. Does nobody check Gauge anymore? I feel like it was a waste of time and effort and a source of disappointment. :(
