I've Got A New Grandson!

I've been absent for the last few days because my oldest daughter gave birth to my first grandchild, a precious little boy! She ended up having a C-section but both are doing well. His name is Rylan Terize and he weighed 7 lbs, 5 oz., 19 1/2 inches long! He's a real cutie!

Congratulations!! How wonderful for your daughter, and of course for you! I'm a grandma too, and I can say being a grandmother is one of the sweetest rewards in life (besides having our own children.) That's a really beautiful name that she gave him. Have fun...this gramma stuff is fun!!!

congradulations on your grandson and to your daughter, a congrats to her first child. having grandkids is so much fun for you can spoil them then send them home...you get like a second chance. i have 1 grandson and 2 granddaughters and wouldn't trade them for anything. now you will also see how great you did with raising your daughter, for she will teach her child things you taught her and so on. again, congradulations to all of you.

Congradulations! I just became an aunt again on Friday cause my hubbys brother and his wife just had a little girl. It is a happy time when a new baby is in the family and the mom and baby are both healthy

Grandbabies are a gift to Us new first time grandmas!!! Your post was 2 months ago, how are you enjoying Grandmahood?? Wonderful isnt it. Our little dude just turned 5 months and he is the most awesome gift in the world. I love buying him something everytime i go somewhere if i can .

Well I'm actually late responding to this --seems like I don't have as much computer time anymore...I wonder why? They are all doing good. The baby has a bit of a cold but should be over it soon. Thanks for asking!P.S. I've posted a picture but will add a new one for you.

Congratulations Grandma!!! I remember how very excited my mom was when I gave her her first grandbaby. She was calling everyone she knew. She almost saved me from having it put in the paper..lol Give him lots of kisses..they smell so good when they are new..lol

congrats on a grandbaby. i am glad that everyone is doing good and all is healthy. i like the name too. a new baby in the family is always a time to be happy. enjoy the baby and i hope the mommy gets some rest she will need it very soon lol.

Congratulations! I hope you enjoy his company and dont freak out about anything, it will all be good. My mother wasted all her time freaking out about anything and everything, including the baby's blanket being on the floor. She thought the germs would crawl on them and get to the baby! Have a good laugh with him!!!

Oh we haven't gone that far! I laugh at my daughter when she fusses at me for fussing at her to change his outfits when he has drooled all down the front. She is getting tired of doing laundry. At this point (3 mo) she may as well get used to it! I survived her and then a set of twins so I know she can handle laundry for one baby :)

Congrats! I'm sure you will find that being a grandma is wonderful. There's nothing like loving, cuddling, having a little person love you back and you can get away without changing the diapers. LOL!
I have 5 grandchildren. It's great the way they think that Grandma is always right and knows best. hee hee
