my star rating ---- thank you guys!!!

I was very excited to reach a hundred posts so I could see my star rating the soonest. And so I really extended a few more hours yesterday before I logged out on mylot just to achieve my goal. I was surprised then when I got a star rating of 9 coz I was expecting around 6-7 since I've read in one of the discussions here that if you're still a newbie and it's your first time to get the star, it would more likely be 6 or 7. Well, I got a 9 and am very happy for it. Many thanks guys!!!

Yes, actually it does affect your pay. But watch out, despite what Mylot says, it appears that users can sabotage you by rating you negatively and you will end up earning less.

You're quite right about your star effecting the earnings. But one person cannot sabotage your star. I received an alert the other day assuring me that even a handful of people negatively rating everything I posted would not undulyeffect my rating. Besides, if that sort of thing does happen it shows up for the monitors and the offenders are dealt with swiftly. So, play nice people. Cheers.

Congratulations to that =) I was also happy when I saw that mine was a 10, however I do not put much notice to it. I have friends that have very low ratings that make nothing but quakity posts here and they have just recived it for beeing honest and people do not always like that =)
I do wish you more sucess - maybe in a few days/hours you will be a 10 =)

Congratulations that is great I bet you felt over the moon with your achievement you see when you are new you never know what result you will achieve so keep up the good work and you will stay there but remember at all times that your star rating varies at times, you may even reach a 10 but you have to keep posting very valuable discussiions.

Congrats for your star rating a 9 that's a pretty good star rating I just got mine today and I started at a 6 star rating so your doing way better than me. Well good luck on mylot and may the force be with you.

hi there, thanks!!! yeah, I see your star rating of 6 there but don't be discouraged.. some of my friends here on mylot told me that our star rating may vary depending on how active you are..so if you keep on posting some sensible discussions and replies..I guess getting a 9 or even a 10 is not impossible... way to go, friend... goodluck to all of us here.. :) happy posting!!

I am excited about that also, I am almost up to my one-hundredth post. Hopefully my rating will not be too low, I have tried to make quality posts all of the time, and i dont think i have made any bad posts that would deserve a negative rating, except for people who rate negative to an opinion they do not agree with. But Congrats, and I am looking forward to seeing mine tomorrow hopefully!

hello there, thanks!!! I can see your star rating now...and congrats!!! 7 is not bad...I even noticed some with 2 or 3.. and those aren't that bad at all... guess what we gotta do is keep on posting topics which are relevant to maintain or even raise our star rating... happy posting.. :)

Congratulations!!! and good for you, you already have your star rating which is quite high. I hope I can have a star rating like yours too when I reach a hundred posts. But the problem is am not even half way through it.. I guess I have to work a lot harder then. :(

You probably feel that you hard work and long hours on Mylot has paid off. I am very happy for you, even though I don't know. My rating is still down, due to being new to this site. I am just taking one day at a time and looking forward to meeting and making friends. So please add me if you need another friend. I believe you can never have to many friends.

congrats to us!we are the same,just now i reached 100 posts and shocked when i recieved my star rating to 9,though i expected it'd be between 3-5 because i feel that my response is not worthwile,my discussions are poor because in the first place i am not an english man where i can express all my ideas.

good luck buddy.. am happy for you.. my rating started out at 5 and has gone up to 8.. and am really very happy for that too.. plus.. it's a big achievement for a 9star rating just after around 100 posts.. have fun,, and good luck!

hey congrats buddy.the first time i started out here my rating was a low 2.and it has slowly and steadily increase with time.your posts must have been of really good quality for you to start off with a 9.way to go buddy.lets hope we both reach the 10 rating soon.all the best and congrats once again.:-)
